"Visited the club twice. Both times found the staff friendly and efficient.food is good honest fare and reasonably priced. We attended a show on our second visit and we're not disappointed. As far as clubs go this is a 5."

"We went there for the food. Happy to say the selection on the menu was quite broad. There is definitely something for everyone. The pricing at the time of our visit was more than fair. The chef and cooks really enjoy their work and that shows in the finished product. We have vacationed in five star accommodation and eaten in five star venues. Having something to compare to, we give them five stars . Thankyou for a wonderful meals."

"We stopped at the swirling coconut for takeaway coffee. the coffee was beautiful and really hot. we also got blueberry muffins that were fresh, damp and full of juicy blueberries. I recommend stopping morning tea! nice couple too."

"We visited on Valentine’s Day and both enjoyed our meals so much. Garlic bread, oysters, veal, duck and sticky date pudding and it was all delicious. The staff are very friendly. The tables are very close together which we didn’t really like but then everyone...at different tables were chatting so that was nice. The restaurant is part of a motel and on the main road, a little over priced but very tasty. It doesn’t look much from the outside but we’ll be back!"

"WORST RESTURANT IN THE MANNING VALLEY! I could swear these other reviews have been paid for ! I ordered honey chicken and rice with 4 mini spring rolls. The mini spring rolls were the shi*tty kind from woolies, the honey chicken was a box of battered reheated chicken and a bucket of real honey (NOT LIKE THE PICTURES) AND THEN THE RICE! cheap. Cold. Made my friend and I sick. Over priced cheap sh*t! My usual resturant is Chung wa chinease resturant down the road from it always good food service and prices. Literally this resturant perils in compare to my usual. Do not eat here. Anywhere else. I wish I could add photos but I chucked the food out to quick. Waste of money."

"We have been driving past Blackies since I was a kid but never going in. We went in with my family as curiosity took over and just decided to go in! We have lost almost 20 years of good eating because of it!!! Our night started with a wheel of cheese... yes a wheel! It was magnificent, their home made dressing was to die for. Stuffed... We then made room for a rack of lamb and my wife had the peaking duck and my mother a steak. They were all generous in size... huge even. We manage to polish most of our plates off! Almost too stuffed for dessert we threw caution to the wind and ordered anyway... They were a standout! Hands down the best mouse I've had in my life. Service was really friendly and meals were greatly timed in between courses (not too soon not too late) and the price was fairly match to the quality of your food! We have already made family plans to return again! Don't drive by.. stop in!"
