"Ordered a premise panini that took half an hour to warm up. When I told the counter person that maybe they should warm up the panini machine before they open, she said, “Why? No one orders that anyway.†I said, “Why do you have them?†She shrugged. I asked for the manager and she pointed to an old guy who had been there the entire time “doing inventoryâ€. I mentioned the issue with the wait and the machine being put on at opening and he gave me a blank stare and said thank you sarcastically. I asked him what was up with his attitude and he said that it is after the fact and there was nothing he could do!! I said, “you could apologize and be sincere and maybe offer me something for my trouble like a Diet Coke.†He just stared at me. And I said, “No wonder your employees do not know how to act. They get. I thing from you.†Really awful experience that almost ruined our nice day at the beach. Paninis were pretty awful and the bacon on my wrap was raw Jones Beach can do better!"

"I am a fan of Sapporo and frequently dine in; especially in the back room where you can sit on the floor japanese style. Customers are given free appetizers (such as edamame), which is always a plus. In my experience, the sushi has always been fresh and really flavorful! This is one of my favorite sushi spots in the Wantagh area."

"We had a great experience at Blackbird Kitchen and Cocktails for our date night! The restaurant is very intimate so a reservation is a must. We ran behind for ours as we were coming out of state but the staff was still very accommodating. Every drink was delicious and we enjoyed all of our tapas (chicken meatballs, gruyere puffs, scallops, mussels were divine, scallops, hummus with homemade pita and the cacio e pepe). We would definitely visit again when in the area."
