"We randomly found this bar because it was listed as a furniture store/bar. It is definitely not a furniture store, but the bar was amazing. They played excellent music, and the bartender was very friendly. It wasn't very crowded on the night we visited, but we had an amazing time. The vibe was very romantic and we'd definitely visit again. It's places like this that make Taipei my favorite city to visit in asia."

"Highly recommended by friends on their value for money sashimi and sushi. Alas, we did not go for the over the counter standing style higher end dinning option. Instead, we opted for pre packed sashimi, sushi, smoked duck, and other items... And opted for outdoor alfresco seated option. Food wise, nothing to shout for... But we were impressed by the sheer helpfulness of the security personnel guarding the main entrance. He was really helpful in helping everyone finding what they need seats, water, glasses, paper bag... etc. Will try the more premium over the counter food next visit"

"The buffet doesn't necessarily have a wide range of dishes but a lot of them were absolutely delicious. I really loved the service here; the staff were extremely cordial and helpful. I would certainly come back for more and would definitely recommend this place to others. Keep in mind though that the whole dining experience is quite expensive"

"It's been a good numbers of years since I've been to this place, but unfortunately I'm still not a fan. Really wanted to love this place because it brings back a lot of childhood memories. Don't get me wrong, the grilled eel is still one of the better ones I've had. Even though it has lots of small bones (yeah, I don't like fish with bones) the eel meat is soft and well flavored. The biggest letdown would be the freshness (the food made us sick afterwards) Most of the side dishes we had seemed undercooked, both fried oysters and shrimp tasted slimy. Taiwan is an island, which is well-known for its fresh seafood, and this place is well below the standard. The unagi don was also decent, but I probably wouldn't recommend this place."

"Great food and decent selection from meats and seafood to desserts. Even have unlimited soft drinks and even beer as well as haagen daz ice cream. Good service. Live music in Sunday night in the lobby capped it off. Only two negatives food selection was wide but missed some western flavors like Italian, Mexican and others. And, price is a killer, but at least we knew in advance."
