"What a lovely pub, great atmosphere, and lovely decor. The staff were extremely friendly and answered all our questions without hesitation. The portions are absolutely huge, we couldnt fit in dessert! Great value for money, will definitely be returning hoping to try a pudding next time"

"Went there for early lunch on our way to another venue. Only reason the ambiance got a low mark was that the restaurant had only just opened for lunch it wasn’t up to temperature and there were no other diners. Booked on line and scanned the menu so looked great with a good variety. Meal quality was excellent with good portions unfortunately didn’t have time to stay for dessert. Service was great and I can highly recommend it."

"After arriving and waiting ten minutes, while in the foyer, to be greeted, we waited again another 15 minutes to be seated. 20minutes after sitting, we left without even the offer of a cocktail. Shameful disregard for its customers. We will not be back!"

"Only 1 minor issue to mention which did not alter ratings. We were table of 4, 2 got there early and were seated by the hostess. My wife was given a glass of wine due to her BD. We were unsure if the server was our waitress or a bar server. To compound the problem, my son's fiance knew the girl so names and positions were not clearly defined. No problems with service except my wife thought that another waiter was to be looking after us and was perturbed that he did not seem to pay much attention to us especially when her wine was finished and we wanted to order a bottle. A clear message once we were seated on name and role would have made things better. We will definitely be back."
