"I have only been here twice, but I have to say, my experience was completely different both times and it was due to the server I had. The first time I went, we ordered roasted Brussels sprouts and Parmesan tater tots along with some cocktails and everything was great. However, our server was odd. It was like she didn’t have any manners. She was not very polite or friendly or very helpful with questions. I ordered a drink that was new to the menu (so I understand her not knowing much about it), but when she brought it, she would not leave until I tasted it and told her about it (instead of giving me time and then coming back). I mentioned that it smelled great (it was strawberry, balsamic, basil…something like that) and she grabbed the drink and smelled it without even asking, sticking her face right over my drink…very off-putting. The second time I went, we ordered the tater tots again and I ordered the roasted beet salad. It wasn’t what I expected (my fault, I skimmed the menu too quickly) so when it came out, I wasn’t a fan and only ate a small portion of it. Our server was very apologetic about it (which I let him know was not Cork’s fault, entirely mine, no big deal) but he still took the salad of off our bill, which I thought was unnecessary, but very nice. He was also very helpful with food and cocktail recommendations. So I would definitely like to go again, but I wonder if I can make a server suggestion without seeming rude…"

"Apparently there was a problem on another table; someone paid for another table and it caused chaos. also our table of 8 zero coffee refills, zero check-ins and zero pop refills. obviously it took every single employee to weigh in in a mostly empty restaurant. I love children, but the 1pm stroller crowd could be joined together. I'm sorry, it was hard enough to hear in the beautiful cavity for older girls, about small children. no judgement about the children, only an organizational problem."
