"The food was good, but not excellent. What should have been hot arrived tepid on cold plates. The restaurant does not offer espresso. The Fitzgerald cocktail was very good. I would return only for cocktails; not for a meal."

"The restaurant is beautiful and very cozy and the staff were very attentive and responsive, unfortunately the food did not live up to the expectations. Everything was okay but nothing was great. The lobster bisque was bland and the main course although beautifully presented was also unremarkable. I'll try it again but with so many other great restaurants in the area, it will be low on the list."

"I absolutely love Monarch! I was so upset on my anniversary meal , Dover Sole! I know it was October and end season, but if your going to decide to stay ope a week or so after some of the restraunts close, the food needs to be outstanding until the door closes for season . We had some friends that ate there October and they said the exact same thing. I love this restraunt and don’t want it to get a bad name just because of the last week"

"We never had to wait long to be seated. Granted this is down season. The food was excellent every time and the drinks also superb. Pricey but that was expected. Service was pretty good but sometimes I felt the server disappeared for a little too long. I don’t mind not being bothered but we wanted more drinks but didn’t see them again until we were finished. I really enjoyed the Eroupean Tour coffee. Over all excellent place (really good Clam Chowder also)"

"This food is amazing! We did not take any pictures of the food because we seriously just dove right in! Apps: the fried Brussel sprouts and the steamed dumplings were to die for! For entree, my boyfriend had the bimbap with all 9 sides and there was only a bit of rice left at the end my three tacos (pork belly, BBQ Korean pork, and tempura portobello were simply amazing! We did save some room (okay, we were just being glutinous! for the churro bread pudding and we were so glad we did! Seriously, we will definitely be coming back to this place every chance we get to come to Atlanta!!! All staff were friendly and knowledgeable it was truly a great experience!"

"The three of us went to lunch at the Manhattan Grill at 12pm. It was surprisingly quiet for a Thursday. We were the only people there and when we left just after 1pm, only three tables were taken. Overall impression is that the food was acceptable, service sketchy for such a quiet day. The clam chowder was not creamy as I expected but a clear broth with bacon, celery and a few clams. We all ordered medium rare steaks for our main course. Mine with medium well done but the other two were fine. The chips were outstanding. Afterwards tea came without cup and saucer which arrived after a couple of reminders."

"This well may be my first negative review. My wife and I go to Aspen frequently, and Brexi has been one of her favorites. I, not so much. But, last night, Dec. 22, (Holiday Season) we had reservations my wife had made 2 weeks previously at 6:45. Neither of us liked the time, as we had massages that day ending 45 minutes before and little time to prepare. My wife had tried to get 7:30 reservations, but was told that was the only time available. When we arrived we were told our reservations were for 7:45! We explained the whole situation and why that could not have been the case or a mistake on our part. They were very unsympathetic, even when my son, who was with us, explained that the exact same thing happened last Holiday Season and was only corrected when he, an investment advisor in NY, had gone to the trouble of getting a written confirmation which he had in hand. Once they saw proof of their mistake in writing, our table suddenly appeared. Not last night, because they don’t care without evidence. I guess it’s a game to maximize the attention on more regular customers at prime dates, to the inconvenience of those that don’t come often enough to matter. Move people’s time around as you wish. BE WARNED! There are lots of places with better food and much better customer care in Aspen. And, if despite this you choose Brexi, have documentation."
