"Went to Hyde for a birthday dinner to try somewhere new and noticed the reviews were mixed but wanted to give it a chance. The venue itself is lovely and the host and servers were really friendly but unfortunately there were some issues. We had ordered the magnum of rosé on the menu and after about 15 minutes, a regular bottle being brought to the table and a bit of back and forth we were informed the magnum did not exist and the menu was a misprint. Staff were attentive about refilling glasses of wine which is really good but they did seem quite rushed and perhaps understaffed. We then ordered food which was good however one of our meals arrived after everyone else had finished which was disappointing. I had made a note on the reservation that it was a birthday but there was no acknowledgement of this when we were there. Again the food is good and staff were lovely but there were a few too many issues for me to recommend Hyde to friends for the moment. We hope to try Hyde again in the future in the hopes that these issues have been ironed out."
