"My partner and I visited The tavern last night ,knowing The tavern very well it was welcoming and cosy . The new owners have put the traditional feel back into the pub. A small but imaginative menu with something for everyone I had a bistro...rump steak which was cooked exactly as I asked for it to be cooked with field mushroom, heritage tomato and the best chips ever ! My partner had pan seared Scallops with Chorizo in a great sauce , for main he had the Chicken dish which he really enjoyed. Well done to Max and the team absolutely spot on "
