"The first 3 times we visited Nook, we couldn’t wait to get back. It took us a while to get back to the restaurant. So our next concert at Bankers, we decided to go again. I booked the reservation on Open Table a month or so before the concert. We arrive for our 5:30 reservation, the restaurant wasn’t busy at all yet, they wanted to seat us at the first table next to hostess area. I asked to move to a different table and we did. To drink ordered a Makers neat and Bulleit Rye neat. For dinner we had the Lasagna and Chicken and Waffles. The lasagna was basically marinara and the chicken tasted like the oil it was fried in hadn’t been changed all week. They offered a different dinner, So by the time my husband got his Short Rib I was done with my meal. Short rib meat was delicious but the cauliflower that comes with it was not the same as before when he had it. It was dry. Disappointing. So it’s time to leave for the show and we ask for our bill. The server explained that they still charged for the chicken and waffles instead of the short rib which was more expensive. When I look at the bill, I about choked. My drink cost more than my dinner. Seriously?! A neat Bulleit was $18 or $19 (I can’t remember which) that’s insane! It’s not like I asked for a double, just neat which means pour a shot straight into a glass and serve it. This experience will most likely keep us from going back. Love the concept of the restaurant but if you want return customers, you’re going to have to change some things."

"Scallops were delicious. Be sure to ask for pricing on the specials because it's typically high, but typically well worth the extra money. Finished with the cheesecake which was really good and not too heavy."
