"We discovered Casa Calaveras while looking for something to eat other than the food being served at our nearby resort. We made reservations on OpenTable and arrived a bit early for our dinner. Walking through the hotel and into Casa Calaveras was breathtaking. The ambience was great and there was plenty of opportunities for pictures. We were greeted promptly by the host and we sat at a picturesque table overlooking the adjacent beach. It was a beautiful evening and we were able to watch the sunset while we waited for our food. We started with the Mexican street corn (delicious) and a hibiscus margarita to share between the two of us. For our main course we ordered the chicken fajitas and beef enchiladas. Both meals were cooked to perfection and came out quickly. Our waiter was quick and attentive, noticing even the smallest needed at our table. *as a side note- my bay and and I noticed that every single staff member in the restaurant seemed very happy and excited to be there (which was refreshing). We did not have room for any dessert, however a table next to us was celebrating a birthday and they brought out a beautiful slice of cake which looked equally as delicious as all of our other food. I would definitely eat at this restaurant again, and would strongly consider going to the ShoreBar which we passed through when we left the restaurant. The bar looked equally as entertaining, with beautiful and fun decor, and a similar menu to the one at Casa Calaveras. Overall a very fun experience! Wish we would have found this before the end of our trip in Los Cabos."
