"Red Lobster South Plainfield, NJ is a good choice! We ordered two very good meals, the Seafarer Fest and the Mariner Fest (both in the price range of $30.00). One plate was Fried Shrimp, grilled Maine Lobster Cock, Garlic Shrimp and a spit of 4 fantastic scallops. The other was Fried Shrimp, the spear of the scallops, and salmon with Langostino sauce. Everyone came with a choice of two sides and the Cheddar Bay biscuits. Our selection was garden salad and potatoes. Everything was very good! Our waiter was new, but very concerned about doing a good job; He checked with us several times, and I also heard that he asked another customer if his cocktail had come out of the way he demanded. This customer was also very satisfied and joked with the server. Another server that recognized us (I was surprised by this, came by to ask how our grandchildren did because they remembered their photos from a previous visit. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The only real disadvantage for most of the Red Lobster chain is the somewhat dated decor. I can live with it."
