"I went here with a friend, who is true gluten-free (allergic, not just trendy diet or personal choice). She was clear with the cashier about this, asking specific questions about the GF menu to ensure she would have a safe experience. When her salad arrived (in the end, one of the few things she could actually eat), there were CROUTONS in it!!! In most cases I would not find a small mistake like that to be a big deal, but when we're talking allergies and the restaurant offers a G-free menu, come on! You need to pay a little more attention to the details.The guy who took our orders and then served our food was really sweet, but he did not know the menu at all. He was unable to answer the most basic questions and would have to run back to the kitchen to ask someone else. A little more training for new employees would go a long way here.The ambience was nice. We were there for a couple of hours on a week night. The place never got crowded or loud. And the outdoor seating was really nice too."

"We stopped in for a quick sake bomb (authentic style with the shot balanced on the chop sticks with pounding on the table required). I feel like they put up with us but not necessarily happy we were there Spicy tuna roll was good but too much old COVID signs are still up and the atmosphere suffers because of it. Great food but sad atmosphere 4/5"
