"We came for sushi night on Thursday. I lived in Asia for years and have visited Japan many times and so I do like to think I know what good sushi tastes like and sadly the sushi at Nana's was really bad. It just tasted of nothing, the fish was frozen and had been defrosted quickly in the microwave so it was warm and the texture was sort of chewy and foamy which was awful. I know its normal for sushi fish to be shipped frozen I think often because the fish is raw it has to be frozen first before it is eaten) and defrosted but this wasn't done properly at all and it was as if the raw fish had started to cook in the microwave. I had salmon and tuna rolls as well as nigiri and none of it was very edible. I didn't raise an issue in the restaurant as we couldn't see the owner or any manager to speak to and didn't really feel it was worth it, I know it's a small independent restaurant which I really wanted to support but the quality was so disappointing. The waitress also didn't seem knowledgable at all and couldn't really talk us through the menu and we did ask whether there was the option of searing the salmon or tuna nigiri but I don't think she understood what we were asking. It was also not cheap at all, which again is quite standard for sushi but when it is this poor quality, it felt like such a rip off. Shame as the restaurant itself is really cute to sit in."

"High Tea, Japanese foods and deals are all things that we love. You can get all three of these at Tsujiri in Richmond, as they offer a phenomenally priced $70 High Tea for 2. That works out to $35 per person!I didn 't even know that Japanese style High Tea was a thing until I found about the High Tea at Tsujiri. This was a very different style of High Tea from the traditional English style High Teas that we are accustomed to. It was her favourite out of all the High Teas we 've ever taken her to. I think mostly because of the matcha ice cream! Personally, I think I prefer Western style High Tea with scones, jam and clotted cream. I do love Japanese food though so this was still a very enjoyable experience and for this price, it 's definitely one of my favourite High Tea experiences around. "The food was very tasty. I recommend the Parmigiano veal. Our server was personable and helpful with the menu. Since it was NYE, I was nervous about the seats available, but my wife and I were in a cabin that was comfortable enough for two other guests. The prices were very reasonable, but the food didn't suffer. All around a great experience and a great, unpretentious neighborhood restaurant."

"The dishes and drinks are very good. My favorite is Lachsei sandwich and vanilla layer. The ambience is great. This socket is huge with many seats and plugs if you want to stay here with your laptop. Only the employees are not friendly. They are not rude, but expect no smile from them. Overall had a great experience."
