"I am no expert on BBQ but this place seems to tick a lot of boxes. We were very hungry so our table of three ordered a large amount of food and it still arrived within 20 minutes despite a full restaurant. <br>

The food was ideal to what they're serving. The meat was tender and not dry, the sides are homely, simple and tasty. There was a lot of taste and if you like your meat you will not be disappointed. (There is a good range of beers and some wine too.) <br>

This place is a bit of a Sunday drive lunch location - it's not fancy but it is delicious, friendly, and not expensive. I would recommend it accordingly. <br>

The service was homely and friendly, and the atmosphere - while a little cornball - was nice. There are a few reviews here saying they didn't like the decor - I guess that's just down to taste. I found the place and the people to be nice. <br>

"This is a great little restaurant on a corner on Waymouth St in the city. We've been wanting to dine there for awhile and were surprised at how many people thought the same thing on a Wednesday night. There were more than usual gluten free...options on the menu which was appreciated and my choice the duck salad was perfect. My husband enjoyed his steak which was cooked as requested. A few more options of wine by the glass would be good. Excellent service from attentive staff and happy that their website showed an accurate menu for May."

"The flavour is they key strength of their food!! I tried couple of dishes for entrees,which were delicious and had generous portion size. Mains also had huge portions. Yellow rice was pretty ordinary,but the mains had all their food deconstructed in one plate(which was really good and you could enjoy every ingredient as well). Must go for those who want to try some sophisticated asian food!"

"Just went to the Dutch cafe , the food was excellent , the service very friendly. The atmosphere great you could hear your self speak, comfortable. The Chi Latte hot and not too sweet. The cakes excellent. Will be going there again"

"Great place for a lazy Sunday lunch; good food, good service and a lovely location. The wine room is very nice and would also be a great place to hold a function. Lots of gluten free options on the menu which was pleasing. The lamb...shanks are divine and the salmon beautifully cooked. The tandoori lamb cutlets really juicy and well cooked. The only complaint was from Mum who wanted a salad and not an asian one (but she's a picky eater! I've noticed there's a summer menu out now .... might need to visit again!"

"I did a google while i was out for somewhere to eat. This place came up and decided to give it a try. It's all vegetarian with vegan and gluten free options. I didnt make a booking but was still allowed to find a seat anywhere that didnt have a reserved sign. When i got up to order my seat ended up being taken by someone else. I mentioned it to one of the staff. They apologised, let another staff member know and said that whyblike to seat people so thatvkind of thingbdoesnt happen. It was also probably because i was on my own. I was easily able to get a seat at the bar tho. I went for the cheeseburger, which was reviewed in The Advertiser, a side of sweet potato fries and a cream soda float.With each bite of the cheeseburger i was going OMG in my head. Im not overly keen on very hot things, but the mustard was spot on perfect. The sweet potato fries were the beat i've ever tasted. Loved the presentation of the cream soda float and the fact it included a long handed spoon for when you got to the bottom.The service was fast, polite and helpful. I would highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone. I would also recommend booking in advance to make sure you get a table."

"Had a chicken parmigiana. First no-no was it had the chicken atop the chips. Second no-no it had ham. Third no-no it had TOMATO PASTE, not neapolitana sauce<br>
Salad was boring, no cuey, no tomato, no olives, just lettuce and 50c piece sized slices of red onion.<br>
Never again!<br>
Also the ends of the schnitzel were burnt!<br>
On a tuesday night I would have expected better!<br>"
