"Reasonable prices, fast delivery, and most importantly, the food was great! The Moro rice side is a heaping portion for the price. The Cuban Sandwich was very tasty, and I was glad to see they put the mustard and mayo dressing on it in the traditional way. The sweet plantains were perfectly cooked, not too chewy and not too soft. I will definitely order from here again."

"I went here to order and take out about seven different subs for employees in our office. I was barking out the different subs and the server was patient and gets everything right. They also rang it up correctly. Our staff enjoyed the subs."

"This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I walked in to purchase a sandwich. The ?Store Manager,? Shanice or whatever her name was super rude! She started yelling that I needed to have a mask on. So I asked her does she has one that she can provide, I was willing to purchase one. Nevertheless she stated that the owner wants her to enforce this one. Which is completely understandable. But it?s not what she said, it?s how she said it. I asked her why don?t they provide masks, she stated that the owner does not want to purchase them. The entire time she spent yelling and being completely irate, I could have easily purchased my sub and been on my way. The owner clearly does not have good judgment in who she allows to run her place of business. Great customer service goes a very long way. This young lady needs to be trained on how she addresses her customers."

"They have been opened since 1947, so they must be doing something right. However, I was NOT impressed. I got the fried catfish strips and to me they tasted like licking a rock straight out of the river, but everyone else in our party of 7 said they were very good so I think I was just having an off day. The BBQ was good a were the ribs. The BBQ potato is HUGE. The sides are typical of a BBQ restaurant. It's worth a try if for no other reason than nostalgia"

"Found this place while searching on Yelp. Since my wife was feeling under the weather, and this place offered soup noodles, thought we'd give it a try. Not familiar with what they're famous for or thinking that it's a typical Asian noodle house, we decided to just try it with an open mind. Upon entry, we saw that the place was well-lit and clean but empty as we were the only customers at the time. Like most of the reviewers have mentioned, the owner/manager was on his laptop/tablet most of the time. He did greet us and was the only person to do the dining room service. We got the original beef brisket and tomato beef brisket rice noodles. When our order came, the first thing we noticed that the soup base is very thick and cloudy but rich in flavor instead of the typical clear soup base. They use different cuts of briskets for both noodle soups. Thin sliced in the original and thick cut for the tomato base. Also, it's the thick type of rice noodles, but the soup doesn't really stay attached or get absorbed to them. We later realize that this restaurant makes their soup base with fish maw, which is good nutritious source of collagen for natural intake."
