"It was a cold Monday and my family was hungry. Hungry for a meal surrounded by atmosphere, food, and people. My boys and I hadn't eat well and Shamrock was beckoning us for a stay. We were seated immediately and had walked past a full bar of mates enjoying the American football games on the telly. Their boisterous laugh and empassioned cheers were the perfect sounds walking through the pub. We were seated in a warm room and had a great view of the place all the way back to the brewing room. The couple behind us was comfortably nestled by a flickering fire stove that filled the room with warmth. A glance across the wall and you could pick up a few various sports on the tv, but eventually eyes will land on the chalkboard full of amazing beers to choose from to drink. The Solar Roast Coffee Stout won my desires this eve. Slugging down a draft from the tap, eating any of the delicious meals, and relaxing in comfortable seats to the symphony of pubs sights, sounds, and smells make this place a treat. Top notch. The best food in no specific order: Scotch Eggs Irish Club Boxty Green Chili Mac Irish Stew"

"It's somewhat overwhelming when you first enter. There's a long line and multiple rooms filled with tables. Though the line moves very quickly with multiple people manning the counter to take orders. Food also comes out quickly. Mine was ready in five minutes at lunchtime. They try to call out order numbers though your best bet is to watch the bingo board at the pickup counter. The green chile is excellent. I believe it's vegetarian and is served with a large flour tortilla. Chicken taco was okay. Meat was flavorless. There was some salsa but it wasn't very spicy. Frontier burrito plate looked very impressive, but that's due in part to the huge tortilla they use. The filling wasn't that plentiful and tasted okay but not great. It's quite the local institution and is very popular with UNM students. Worth experiencing for the atmosphere and for reasonably priced, filling food. There's a wide variety of Mexican food, breakfasts and American burgers. Some of the offerings are good, others are average."

"I asked for no Onions and they came in my plate. They use a low quality premix vegetable blend of corn, black beans, and onions on the Irish Nachos We were the only patrons at 17:00p.m. the Chef came out very chatty, pushy towards us trying all the different sauces. Had to say no 2 or 3 times. I do love the mustard!! Then the Chef wanted to watch us eat the carrot bacon . While telling us their origin story and the shops. Because we were the only table, we got an off menu item, French fries in cow parmesan cheese. Staff was not wearing masks. The server, when asked, switched up from misgendering us to using they and folks."

"This hidden gem blew us away! We were staying at the hotel next door on a cross-country trip and the person at the front desk told us that there were restaurants in the unassuming metal box building next door. What a surprise! We walked in and had oursenses tantalized by the smell of smokey BBQ. This place did not disappoint!! The meat was, as my husband put it, ?even moretender than the bun!?. The sauce that we chose (one of 4 available) was as delicious as the meat and a perfect compliment. Wewere so impressed, we went back inside to to get more to go for later and to ?compliment the chef?. We had the honor of meetingthe owner Leo. He told us of the extensive process he takes with the seasoning, smoking, and creating all of his menu items fromscratch. He was as warm and personable as the rest of his staff. A total great experience. If you live in or visit Albuquerque, this place is a MUST stop! If there were 10 stars I?d still want to give it 20!"
