"Traiteur Le Maxime is the new venture by the same family who owned the restaurant. It is a lovely place to shop and the whole family are very engaging and lovely people who appreciate your custom. They have a good range of wines and champagnes, top quality oils, mustards and goods from across France. The Traiteur part has excellent food cooked on the premises by the father, chef in the previous restaurant business and offers a good range of top quality French cuisine. Now in its third year, it goes from strength to strength. You won't be disappointed."

"She was recommended to us by friends of st tropez saying "the best pancakes of the var," after trying them we can say much more! Last year we went to Brittany / Normandy, but we didn't eat so good pancakes too often!!! the salts and also the desserts are excellent, all generously stuffed. has absolutely accompanied by their pure dry and soft quality cider. Very nice staff. a nice cheaper formula is also proposed for lunch. tried and tried again!"

"You will find the beach resteraunt Les Planches if you travel east from the centre of Sainte Maxime on the coast road towards the Port of Les Issambres.We had dinner there on Sunday evening 6th August 2017. We had booked which is our habit that was confirmed as a couple were being turned away as they were full!Away from busy bussling Sainte Maxime there is non of the madness of two sittings. When you are seated the table is yours. The prices in part reflect this.We were shown to a nice table no 31, in the third "room" The decor is contemporary and beautiful together with the views.We ordered Tartare de Boeuf €26 which came with fries and Cotes D'agneau €32. Both sides were beautifully presented and we're Delicious. The lamb is probably one of the best lamb chops I have eaten, thick, generous and pink. Yummy!For dessert L'assortiment Goumand €16 and two balls of wonderful home made ice cream €8.We drank a bottle of Roubine Rose €30 and a coffee €3.We had a splendid evening, the setting, the decor and the pleasant, cheerful and attentive service was all five stars.We will return."
