"We have been customers since it opened, but since the owners have not been in charge of customer service, rudeness has crept in- for instance, on our last visit a staff member openly complained about having to open the chiller to sell us some cake near the close of business! Unbelievable attitude! Then we were charged $5 for a piece of cake! there is no price list for cake or baked goods which is unacceptable. Very disappointing!"

"To be honest, I just stumbled in. I was walking by, feeling peckish, and this humble, down-classed, utilitarian little place caught my eye. I figured that it would be either a gastronomical joy or a disaster and I was in the mood to find out....Clearly, this is not fine dining. I didn't want that. Sally Bun offers buns. Smooth round balls of golden baked dough. They don't look like much more than glossy dinner rolls, but there is magic inside, for each ball conceals a rich and savoury centre. I ordered Curry Chicken, which was delicious, though more sweet than spicy. Other fillings include Roast Beef with dill pickle and cheddar, Lox with cream cheese and dill, Chicken Breast with Thai sauce, Ham and Cheddar, and more. I ordered just one, and it was perfect, as I wasn't looking for a big meal. Two would be a sizeable lunch. Going on a picnic? Stop by and pick up an assortment."

"Best burger place in Victoria hands down.they are clean.so adorably friendly and social.they listen to instructions and for me that's critical.i'm probably one of the most fussy people on the planet.i'm strict.cook street location is super busy.(no doubt the food is yummy!)despite all this.m'burgers are always delicious and exactly the way i asked.the wait is never too long.keep it up Big Wheel. always a bonus to eat good food at a reasonable price without having to do dishes!"

"Wow, great food and service for a very reasonable price. No wonder this place is so busy. I ordered the chicken strips, it was enough for two meals. I like it that they serve a 6 oz glass of wine. My rose was only $10. Lots of choice for wine, beer and cocktails. Downside, it was uncomfortably cold in the restaurant so we didn't linger. Parking is extremely limited so you may have to hike a few blocks. Read the parking signs carefully."
