Wir sind inzwischen Stammkunden obwohl wir öfters telefonisch bestellen und abholen als im Restaurant zu essen. Die Indische Speisen sind authentisch und hervorragend. Die Pizzen gehören zu den Besten die ich bisher gegessen habe. Ein Punkt Abzug ausschliesslich für das Ambiente. Ansonsten echt top!"

"My wife likes Indian food very and during our visit to Berlin we found this Indian restaurant not far from Ku Damm. The menu looked promising, so we decide to check it. We are usually vegetarian, so we went for the homemade fresh cheese with spinach and fresh cheese in a medium hot curry sauce. Note that the medium was hot was quite hot but very tasty. We ate it with a bhatura (fried bread and enjoyed not only the meal, also the staff was very nice. We have an appetizer and a drink after meal for free : . The portions are really big, we left the restaurant with a good feeling and if we are back in Berlin we will surely go back there. I forgot the price: about 9 euros per record good value."

"After a search of Indian Restaurants Nearby we stumbled upon Amber because of the good rating on TA. We were hungry and it was getting late as we had just driven in from Switzerland, so rather than read the reviews, I simply took a...quick glance at the menu and took the star rating at face value. We were there on a Friday and had arrived around We didn't need a reservation, but the restaurant had plenty of patrons. I'd say about people were in the restaurant by the time we had arrived, though they still had a dozen or so free tables. I had a very typical main chicken tikka masala. It was good and I enjoyed it, but can't say it was so much better than what I've had in other Indian restaurants around the world (excluding India we still have to visit). It's really a staple dish both hard to mess up, as well as hard to excel at. I definitely wasn't disappointed or anything and it met my standard expectations. My husband went out on a limb and ordered the mango lamb, something totally different from what he normally selects. The sauce was a sweeter flavor than typical dishes and paired nicely with the lamb. He absolutely loved it, so much so that he asked to go back again the next night. We were only in Munich for two nights and ate there both nights. I'm sure he will also ask to go back in the future as we visit Munich once a year. While the hubby had the lamb again the second night, I went with another staple butter chicken. It was also enjoyable with a hint of sweetness and I would order it again. We shared the appetizer for the first night and opted to skip on an appetizer the second as it was just too much food for us with two mains. The naan was wonderful, too both garlic and butter. Don't miss out on that! Amber is definitely worth a try. The employees are friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The price is good for the quality and portion. Most of all, the food is really good : FYI There is free street parking in the immediate vicinity of the restaurant."
