"We arrived at the Nite Hawk Cafe for Thursday Steak night at 5pm. When taking drink orders, the waitress had “never heard of” a beer that was listed on the drink menu, not a good sign of things to come. When placing my steak order, I was informed that Steak Night did not start until 5:30pm. Under pressure to order something else, I order the Fish and Chips. The Fish was incredibly over cooked and over battered and was possibly the worse fish and chips I had ever had. The chips were also dry and overcooked leading me to think that the cook had fallen asleep at the deep fryer. Then instead of asking if I would like another beer, the waitress dropped off the bill while my wife was half way done her meal. She did enjoy her salad, apart from feeling rushed to finish despite the dining room being mostly empty. Perhaps they were getting ready for the big Steak Night rush? LOL. A terrible dining experience."
