"I've been going there for years. Do not get fooled by the looks of the place! The food is always delicious, the service is friendly. The place itself is small, you eat at the bar or by the window; no fancy anything. But the food more than makes up for the decor. The empanadas are yummy, and the breaded steak plate is generous and delicious; it comes with salad and sweet plantains. Definitely worth the visit!"

"Apparently this place is new, and located in the St. Henri district which is not a touristic hot spot. This is your classic diner, with a Eastern European bent, but the brunch classics are still there.I'm a sucker for eggs benedict, so when i saw that, i bit. I'll be frank, it wasn't the best I've ever had, and it wasn't the worst. My son ordered the omelette and he thought it a bit dry. In the end, it was okay, but not much better than that. I'd not be jumping through hoops to go there, and service was, at best, inattentive, and a bit lackadaisical. But that met the expectations of the place.If you're in the neighbourhood, there may be better places to eat (we ate at Marche La Pantry just down the street, and while not diner food, was quite good), but if you're craving the typical eggs brunch, it's fine."

"I went with two friends to this address for which we had high hopes because of the linkage with the Toquee group. It was Sunday night, and perhaps the person in charge of the kitchen wasn't there. We started with a charcuterie board and with...the pate en croute. These were acceptable but not outstanding in quality. The main courses come ungarhished and it is suggested to order a side. Since the dishes aren't clearly described chosing a side isn't clear. My friend ordered the steak, and was asked how it should be cooked. That was one dish which was described as coming with a side--pomme de terre pont neuf. That turned out to be four sticks of deep fried potato stacked on top of the stteak. His partner chose the lamb dish. When it arrived and she cut into it, could most charitably described as blue rare When she questioned our waiter, we were informed that they used to ask people about how well done it should be, but now the chef just cocked it as he saw fit. I was actually the most lucky, since I ordered pintade. It was described as being served with wild mushrooms. I did not want the starch sides, nor green beans with the pintade, and that left ordinary white mushrooms. My colleague asked if they could simply increase the amount of girolles provided so there would at least be harmony, and for a supplement that could be accomodated. The service was a bit strained since the waiter seemed not to be familiar with the dishes to describe them. I hope that we just had a bad night. But it will be some time before a suggestion to revisit would be accepted by my friends."
