"You cannot call ahead and place your order if you?re paying with cash (understandable) but a serious bummer if you?re trying to avoid the wait times at this place. I?ve also found that if you order ahead online or over the phone they tend to underestimate their wait times which leads to multiple people gathered inside waiting for orders that aren?t ready in time. The interior of this location is dated, sad, and just overall uninviting and needing some TLC. Customer service is basic, not necessarily friendly or exceptional but totally fine for just placing an order to go. Food is hit or miss, sometimes our burgers are good, sometimes they?re over cooked or soggy. We will make the extra drive to five guys in the future? UPDATE: Would give 0 stars if possible. We decided to give it another try and were fully disappointed. Staff is miserable and the food and service truly show it. Our food was cold and burned, fries were soggy and cold. This place has become a joke and you can count on it for bad service and food every time. I hope the owner sees the countless reviews and does something to fix it, because we used to love visiting this place!"

"Every time our food was great. several paintings and parts of the day and its always good. the waiting staff is super nice and friendly. good music and atmosphere. "Been a customer for years! Love supporting this small family owned business!! Their sausage breakfast burrito is so good!! I've tried pretty much every Chi in Salem but honestly, Joe Mocha has the BEST house made Chi in town, bar none!! Most of their food items are home made and are delicious!! J. M., has daily specials that usually sell out! Try their BLT, you won't be disappointed!! I've special ordered large batches of their home made baked goods for food days work, which are a hit every time!! The staff is courteous and always cheerful!! The pie pockets are fabulous!! If an order is not up to my liking I let them know and the next one is no charge! I say this not as a negative, but as a positive as everyone makes an occasional mistake, and the staff is always apologetic! Try Joe Mocha you won't be disappointed!! Support small local business!! They now have house made flavored lemonades for the summer! Can't wait to try all of them!"
