"Poor service. Waited 30 mins but never come to our table and never take order. We called staffs, but they just ignored us. Other tables seemed to be same. The other table looked like waiting longer than us. They are no longer the Allis we knew, where we always had food experience."

"Came to Chicago from another state, and happened to walk by. I've been on a low carb/keto diet for 3 years, and I can't tell you how excited I was to find a place I could eat at comfortably AND enjoy the heck out of! The menu even lists net carbs! Everything was delicious."

"We tried several of the house wines. They were hit and miss. Sav Blanc was overly acidic. Didn't like the Merlot or Malbec. Albarino and Pinot were favorites. Food was very good. Smoked fish dip with warm bread was the best dish. The squash had a syrupy sauce that was too sweet. Hamachi crudo was very good. Short ribs were somewhat dry. Our server was good but I had to ask for water refills a few times and restaurant wasn't busy on a Tues. night in January, so there was no need for this."

"Update from 07/26/2021 Today's Visit 09/26/21 Excellent Customer Service Delicious Food! This review is an update from a pervious review I gave two months ago. We were invited by the restaurant owners to comeback for a complementary meal on the house. My husband and I appreciate that Chicago Waffles West Loop wanted to take the opportunity to correct the mistake from our first visit. Our experience this time around was wonderful and I have nothing but positive comments. The owners reached out to us via email with their sincerest apologies about our first visit and wanted to make it up to us. They invited us back. My husband and I went on a Sunday afternoon, we had a reservation for 1pm. We were greeted by the owner. We were seated in a wonderful table in a cozy area. I ordered the Cheddar Waffles and Beef Brisket with Mimosa. My husband ordered the Country Fried Chicken with Berry Mojito. The beef brisket was tender, juicy, well seasoned, the waffles were light and fluffy on the inside while golden crispy brown on the outside. I enjoyed every bite. My husband says his chicken was tender and juicy, his mojito was delicious blended well, smooth, just right. The owners also provided us with a complementary waffle flight of chocolate, red velvet, green tea, and buttermilk waffles to go. Overall this experience was great. I highly recommend Chicago Waffles West Loop. Its a great breakfast or brunch location for family, friends, dates, etc."

"Definitely an awesome hotel restaurant surprised this place isn?t more popular. Drinks: A bit hit or miss. Had a bubbly rosé that had no complexity and the Kostali take on gin and tonic, which was on point. Food: Extremely wide range of dishes as itincludes all regions of the Mediterranean, from Europe to Africa to the Middle East. I feel that the dishes don?t tie togetherwell, but individually they all tasted great. One note is that the lamb ribs kinda tasted Asian because the sauce was like asweet and sour sauce. Service: very attentive and quick Ambience: When we arrived, there was live music! It?s a quietrestaurant great for dates or meetings. Also love that there are cozy circular seatings!"
