"Came to this Izakaya for a similar dish that made my trip to Takayama, Japan 5 years ago exceedingly memorable Hida beef grilled on Magnolia leaf served table side. Very disappointed when I found out that this dish subbed with Berkshire pork belly has been taken off the menu. Well, we managed to enjoy the evening, nonetheless. The unagi don was superbly dressed with flavorful golden egg specks. The Karaage was one of the best I have ever tasted tender, moist inside, delicate crusty well seasoned outside. The only thing I was underwhelmed by was the black cod which in my opinion was slightly rubbery."
