"Has a touch of old school vibe, but without the stuffiness, and with a touch of modern casual. 90s 2000s alternative skirt played in what else could feel like an old very small steakhouse pub. DEFINITELY get the daily egg roll special, which are not Chinese egg rolls, but random, fun, flavors. For example, this week had shrimps and casting egg rolls during the Mardi Gras Timing. The short rib speciality dinner was delicious, melt in your mouth. Cocktails were all solid. Server was very nice, although not the most attentive during our visit. The bread pudding was very good I had better, but this one was up there."

"I absolutely love this place. I have been going there for a few years now and love taking my family there. We love the food. It’s always so fresh and delicious. Unmatched service from the owners to all the waiters and other staff. Kyle, our waiter tonight was amazing. I would highly recommend this place. One of the best places to eat in Des Moines!"
