"I started sitting with a pleasant host. A waitress was on our side who took our drinks order, which I like right away. After about one minute or two our drink was there and we were offered suggestions on appetizers, the crab and artichoke di and the Calamari were the waitress two favorites, so we chose the crab and artichoke dip to start with and let me tell you that it is for dying!!! We asked the waitress for suggestions on the menu and they gave us a complete menu run, which was nice and very informative, there was a fresh fish list and a fresh frozen list. I ordered one of the suggestions made by the waitress, the sesami seard ahi(delicious!!!!! really melted in your mouth, but got a bowl of Clam Chowder with all the experience in Monteray was amazing, the view was incredible and the service was unbeatable... thanks monteray for so great service I will be back and forth"

"I used to work here. The service is very snooty. The employees are ancient for the most part they have been there 20 plus years. I've seen huge roaches in the basement aka wine cellar. The management staff was horrible, but I've been informed that they have fixed that issue. The food prices are very high. You will receive great service, although not personal. The food quality is good, atmosphere is nice, but with those huge bugs crawling around everywhere, I would never eat there. The building is very old. That may be the problem. If you do decide to eat here, bring tons of money, because you are going to need it."
