"I was fairly impressed with Early Girl Eatery. My party stopped in for breakfast. There was a 15 minute wait which is fair for a popular breakfast restaurant on a Sunday. The vibe here is decent, as well. I was a bit thrown off by the portion size Ireceived. It wasn't particularly small, but for the price and what was supposed to be included it felt a smidge on the lightside. However, the quality was there. Wonderful flavors and a nice blend of different textures. The service seemed a bitchaotic. We had three different people come by our table at random times and none of them seemed to know who our server was.It's a busy place, so it's reasonable that these things happen. The food came out fairly quickly and the tea I ordered wasbetter than regular store bought. I would definitely try this place again, maybe on a day/time where they likely wouldn't be asbusy."

"My wife 's Spinach-Parmesan risotto that accompanied the delicious sockeye-salmon (perfectly cooked as she asked) was the best risotto ever tasted . Likewise the Chicken Nostimon was excellent. We enjoyed the Spinach-Artichoke dip as a starter, but there were so many tempting appetizers that we 'll need to return often to try them all. Server was knowledgeable and we appreciated the thoughtful consideration of the owner stopping by the tables to inquire about our meals."

"Excellent dinner, great location, waitress was awesome knowledgeable of menu items, great portions, reasonable pricing. All this makes for a repeat visit. Seafood gumbo had tomatoes corn, not typical but lots of crawfish tails. Seafood etouffee was decent, although the shrimps were a bit undercooked. Chicken pasta special was top notch. Blue salad was on point. Beignets were on the dense side, not airy. Calamari was a killer with added arugula marinara sauce."

"This is a nice place to have dinner. The service is quick. Our host/server is very attentive and pleasant to the customers. Price is resonable. My pork belly is so delicious and soft. I devour it. Lots of choices in the menu. Steak is great too. This is a must to visit when youre in Asheville."
