"Fantastic local spot. Half price appetizers on Tuesday for dinner, there was delicious fried calamari, the clam chowder was creamy with clams, not many potatoes! Would go back next time I'm in the area! The Barbaries scallops came with large scallops, there was a strong bourbon taste in the sauce and mushrooms so if you don't like it then just be aware. Otherwise the vodka pasta was great, we added chicken. Dessert was the apple caramel pie. Service was great! Update: at another visit we ordered the fried banana cheesecake which was delicious!"

"Castello’s is always crazy on holidays and so we were prepared for it. Wait time for the table was pretty short, and the kitchen must have been slammed. Typically service here shines, but we were not checked on as we usually are when dining there. My dinner was ‘meh’ .. was supposed to be spicy and it was not. No server ever checked “is everything to your liking” because I would have asked for red pepper flakes. I ate it regardless. Guess the rush eased up because after a long long wait to check on us after we completed our meals, dessert/coffee/aperitifs were pretty efficiently executed."

"My son took us out to an early Mother's Day dinner to avoid the chaos tomorrow. He wanted to go to a steakhouse. I had my eye on this place for a couple years now. It was worth the wait! Place is spectacular. The service is amazing, the drinks were on point and the meal was fantastic! We started with appetizers. Oysters were super fresh served with two sauces and lemon wedges. The wine vinegar on the oysters added delicious flavor. BBQ wings were good. I couldn't sample the other items because they weren't gf, but my family commented how delicious the calamari was. They served Italian fresh bread with oil, basil and red pepper flakes to dip. I ordered the filet mignon, side of asparagus cooked perfectly, and French fries, all delicious. I had the 12 ounce steak, I should've went with the 8, because I ate plenty of everything and was beyond full. Lovely atmosphere especially since the weather is nice and there's out door seating options and open front as well."
