"Date night special occasion restaurant for sure. It's busy so I highly recommend a reservation. They have a pretty unique cocktail menu which I appreciate- the pink lady was my favorite. French onion soup was delicious but it wasn't very soupy very little broth) My fiance ordered the Ribeye, unfortunately that fell short. For 50$ the quality of the cut was very fatty. They did however cook it to his requested temperature. It was under seasoned. My butternut squash risotto was fabulous. We ordered the German chocolate cake for charity and it was quite scrumptious."

"Great meal at a restaurant that is so rich in history. The colonial environment is felt throughout the entire establishment, which makes the atmosphere very enjoyable. I ordered the roast tom turkey and it tasted terrific. The meal also came with a salad, bread, and fritters. The meal combined with the environment was very pleasant. The service was also excellent and quick. Though the prices are a bit high, I believe it was worth what I got. I would totally recommend dining here."

"We went here for my boyfriend 's 30th last night. He was VERY VERY excited to go but all in all we were both VERY VERY disappointed after our meal. We had 7:15 reservations. I went to the bar and the tenders didn 't come to me for 25 min. We waited 45 min to be seated in an nearly empty restaurant b/c the hostess forgot us. I am a vegetarian so I was primarily going for my boyfriend 's enjoyment. However, when I made the reservations I asked the attendant if they offered any vegetarian options. She said most certainly and I just needed to tell my server and basically the kitchen could make anything I wanted. So I was really confused when I asked our server what they have for vegetarian options and he told me vegetables. I said you can 't make something, and he said all they offer is a sauté ' mixture of vegetables. Being this wasn 't my night I didn 't push the issue. It took forever to order, bread arrived about 25 min after we sat. We ordered salads were were decent. I ordered Mac Cheese with out the lobster. I was horrified to find out it was about a cups worth of pasta shells and a very watery milky cheesy parsley sauce. Tasted more like a weak alfredo then Mac Cheese and seriously it was no more then a cup 's worth poured onto a small side dish. This cost me $8. My boyfriend 's dinner was no better. He got the porter house steak for like $40. It was over-cooked and all his sides were cold and the veggies limp. He got a $10 glass of cheap wine that barely filled the wine glass. Waiter was unhelpful and absent, serious lack of attention. We spent $150 that night. Not worth it and will not return."
