"Appetizers were good. Main course was a disaster. My dinner was not even warm. The other dinner was supposed to have shrimp. They brought it minutes later. The other dinner was supposed to have scallops. It didn’t. They brought the scallops and they were raw. Our server was spotty. Never came back to the table to ask if we wanted something to drink. Thank goodness we had ordered a bottle of sparkling water or we would not have had anything to drink. They didn’t even come by and ask if we wanted water. We will never go back to this restaurant. Ever"

"Located in Paramus, NJ....Suburban Diner is a very busy spot that has a very good wait staff. When my family and I arrived, we had to wait about ten minutes due to the place being at capacity plus the cleaning staff constantly cleaning and disinfecting everything. Once we were seated, the wait staff attended to us quickly and served our drinks within minutes then took our orders. When our food arrived, we dug right in. The most interesting of all our orders would have to have been the Disco Fingers (chicken fingers and fries covered in gravy and melted mozzarella cheese). The food was very good and the portions were just right. They also have a great selection of deserts. Combine that with an average price point and you've got a solid diner that I'd recommend to everyone. The ONLY negative I saw here was the lack of variety on the entree portion of the menu. Otherwise.....a great place to eat and enjoy."
