"We returned to The Commodore after having written a negative review of them on Yelp. The manager contacted me and wanted us to give them another try so he sent us a $100 gift card. Our last review was mostly positive about the food, it was the service that had been a problem. Last Friday, March 13th, we went back to give the restaurant another try. As far as we know, they didn't know that we had complained in the past and were going to use the gift card from them. This time, our server, Jossette, was very friendly, prompt and helpful. She was also very patient and knowledgable, giving us descriptions of the items on the menu. For entrees, our group ordered the Lamb Chops, the Mushroom Stroganoff with chicken and the Pan-Seared Chicken and each of the entrees was well seasoned and delicious! For dessert, we ordered the chocolate bavarian cream and the Bourbon Pecan Semi Freddo and both were wonderful! After a slight (but quickly cleared up) issue with the gift card machine, we were given our desserts on the house. We were very impressed with our visit this time and can't wait to go back."

"We were sat in a back room of sorts that was chilly and had poor lighting (more like iridescent vibes). The tables were definitely similar to folding tables with a black table cloth thrown over them. Due to the temperature of the room the food got cold rather quickly. We were confused as to why we were sat in the back “makeshift” room when there were tables and booths available up front in the main space. Our server was very attentive and friendly."

"Terrible experience. The lady was really rude and had an attitude from the start with us, keep in mind it was my mother and I. My mother ordered a mangonada without the tamarindo. Once it was ready, it had 3 prices of mangoes on top and the rest was a mixed slushy of “mangonada”. My mom then asked her if this was common for a mangonada because she didn’t really like how it was prepared. The lady wouldn’t come to the register to talk, basically told my mom that’s how they’re made and to get over it. The mangonada is $6, you would think they could’ve cut a few mangos for her or would’ve just explained tj her nicely. But after today’s experience I no longer support this business. Extremely rude and they have the worst customer service. 2/10"
