"I ask the sever about the corn beef it is was made in house or store brought, never got an answer for 14.00 the worst Ruben meat was tuff, chip not cook , duck sloppy joes, learn to cook duck confit before making again. they were out of a lot of beer. no more ask about are plates not being eaten , only if you would like a dessert. sorry I only heared great things about this place never again"

"I have been dining at Maxâs for yearsâboth Washington and Montrose locations., I am a fan of the fried chicken and fried lobster. I have never received my chicken greasy and undercooked. It was awful! The skin was extremely hard and the overly crispy. There were visible signs of grease on the two chicken breasts that I ordered. When I cut into the chicken it was undercooked, runny and raw (light pink) in some areas. I sent it back! This is not what l am used to. In addition, the restaurant had a smell of burnt grease and the air was slightly smoky. An overall bad experience and not like anything that I have experienced at Maxâs."
