"I had my first experience here and the food and drink was excellent. I had a mango cold brew tea and a smoked salmon poke bowl. The service was a bit slow but it is around the same wait time as the McDonald's a few steps away. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. I will definitely be back to try their smoothies!"

"After leaving the restaurant I realized they overcharged me by at least $30. We ate between 6:00 and 9:30 which is supposed to be Dim Sum Happy hour when dim sum items are half price. Even if we assume that we should have been charged full price for the Dim Sum items the total was way off (we ordered 4 large dishes in addition to Dim Sum). If it was supposed to be Happy Hour, we were overcharged even more . I left a tip on top of that! Unfortunately, I did not check the numbers until after we got home because the bill was much more than we had paid before (NOTE, our calculations included tax). There is no itemized bill, just someone rapidly punching numbers into a calculator and presenting you with a number. The food is OK there but not worth the overcharged price. Make sure you know what your bill should come to and do not be afraid to challenge their calculations or you might get ripped off too! Alternately, go to a place with proper bills showing what was ordered if you do not like confrontation."

"I've been visiting and eating at Nhu Y since they opened and I've been here at least three times a month since. Great quality pho, which compares to the best in the city, even better since it's so close to my home in East Kildonan. Try the Bun Xeo appetizer for a tasty egg crepe lettuce wrap starter that is not something most would try! Not too filling to start and different than the typical rolls you've already tried. Very friendly service and lots of options, all done w much better quality than other places nearby. Highly recommended."

"My wife were going to a movie at the Northgate Cinema and decided to try Asia City. I have been to the Pembina location sometime ago.When we arrived there were only two other tables occupied. I went to the bathroom before ordering and found it could use a good cleaning. The soap dispenser was basically empty. I got a very small amount to wash my hands. When you walk in there is a large menu over the kitchen area. the cash register is against the wall separating the kitchen from the hall leading to the bathrooms. You place your order, pay and then receive a number to take with you to your table.My wife ordered a chicken sandwich and I ordered three vegetable spring roles and chicken Pad Thai. The total was $20.30 which I thought was a decent price.We were told we could sit anywhere and they would bring the food out.We sat in the atrium portion closest to McPhillips. The first chair my wife sat in had two sunken areas which was uncomfortable. She exchanged it with another.A young lady brought me my Pad Thai. A few minutes later she brought my wife's sandwich. There is a counter close to where we were sitting with plates, bowls, utensils, glasses and a water dispenser. It is self serve.The Pad Thai was hot (not spicy) and tasty. If there were peanuts in it they were ground pretty fine. The portion was a good size and there was plenty of chicken.My wife said her sandwich was fresh. The chicken was warm and the vegetables and bread were fresh. She said she would order it again.I was half way through my Pad Thai and no sign of my spring rolls. I informed the young lady I had ordered spring rolls and she assured me that they would be out shortly. A little different than most places where I have always received my spring rolls first. When they arrived they were very hot and accompanied by a dipping sauce. They too were tasty.It was quick which worked for making it to our movie on time.There were another four or five tables occupied when we left.Our only complaint was that it could use a good cleaning. As we walked out there was some food on the floor where people would walk. The entrance could also use a good cleaning."

"Went there because of good Open Table reviews. Both sushi and hot food were disappointing. Service was incredibly slow and we were one of 2 tables in the entire restaurant. Wouldn't go back, wouldn't recommend. Try any other of the sushi restaurants down Osborne."
