"The service was very good. Any questions we had for the waiter were answered with knowledge and a sense of humour. Because there is limited amount of tables in the dining room, customers get top notch attention. Having our Caesar salad made in front of us was a nice touch."

"I've hardly ever written reviews of places, but I had to in this case. We had a business meeting there last week for 8 of us, one of the guys recommended Chandeliers because of all the people that went over there from John's. He said he had ben there before and loved it. We had a nice private room and access to a TV to go over a few things. We started off with a couple appetizer platters that were really good, especially the dry ribs. Never had a ribs like that before. They weren't button ribs, it was a half rack, individually breaded and fried perfectly. Service was great too, as our server ensured that our drinks were never empty. Most of us had steaks for dinner, one guy had the Mahi Mahi and said it was great with the mango salsa. All the steaks were cooked to perfection, and the prime rib portions were more than generous. I'm definitely coming back again as soon as I can."

"Overall the experience was pretty bad. First the good things - the server was good. She was attentive and friendly, no problems there. However, the food was very expensive for what you got, in my opinion. The mix of appetizers were generally deep-fried and run of the mill nothing that stood out. The steak was very expensive and came with sad looking over-cooked steamed green beans. The baked potato was ok. Overall the presentation left a lot to be desired, the steak tasted ok but looked pale and didn't have that really nice grill carmelization one would expect for a $30 steak. I don't know. Places that charge that much and then throw some frozen veg on your plate need to rethink what they are doing. That tells a customer they're not cooking fresh and are likely going to the freezer for everything (like the appetizers that likely went from freezer to fryer). They should drop their prices to reflect the effor they put in or up their quality. I'd recommend you save your money and go to a restaurant that has a small menu and cooks fresh and spend your hard earned money elsewhere."

"I've ordered from Mano twice in the last few months and both times my order was grounded. For 6 people they have grounded the order for 3 of them, I was specific about a food allergy and they still contained the ingredient anyway....I was offered a credit to the $300 meal and accepted even though the people 't really eat their whole meal. With this loan I ordered again, for two people, and they forgot the dressing for the two salads. I called and spoke to the owner who tried to offer excuses why they have now failed twice, it is busy, we deal with many customers, etc. The owner was not willing to offer a real solution, so I decided not to eat again in their moderate restaurant. The ribs have every time I have eaten in the facility, the food has been delivered cold, forgotten items, a general lack of care, try to make a person sick by items that a customer is allergic, and bad property will destroy any food experience in the restaurant. I'm ashamed you're in Saskatoon. I used to go to Mano 's when I was younger (before renovations), the food was delicious earlier, it was cheap and a pleasant atmosphere. Not sure if the big cook went, but the food went downhill after this point. Prices rose significantly and service levels decreased. I hope that Saskatoon people will avoid this badly run business."
