"Majestic atmosphere, amazing/creative food, superb service. One example is an entrada/appetizer of shrimp tacos, but the "tortillas" were very thinly sliced yucca. I'm going to try this at home. We took a one hour each way bus for a belated birthday celebration and it was worth the extra effort and time."

"I have been twice to James Pub and both times I have had an amazing time! First, the staff is excellent and very attentive- we even got free drinks. The food is also great with a lot of variation for everyone; from chicken wings to tacos to sushi. If you don't know what to get, ask the waiters and they will gladly help you. The drinks are also very well made. I recommend the margarita on the rocks and the Tropical Dream Mist. The atmosphere is incredible with good views of the clubs and with excellent music that puts you in a good mood. If you are in the club zone and want something tasty for dinner with a relaxing ambiance go to James Pub."

"One of the first restaurants I tried in the city. Steak tacos was good with the fresh toppings. The shrimp was also fresh for the tacos too. Also had free chips and salsa. Had a coupon for a free drink so I had a pina colda and it was loaded with flavor and of course I took a few shots of tequila. Service is among amazing and their just wanting you to enjoy your time. Had a nice view over looking the beach. Clean restaurant and it wasn’t too busy for lunch. Good place to try if your tired of eating the resort food 3 times a day and prices wasn’t too bad."

"We stop in here for a late dinner after a somewhat disappointing visit to the Hacienda Tequila visit. We were hoping for a great margarita (since it is connected in thloaction to Hacienda Tequila) and some good Mexican food. I ordered the premium margarita which was supposed to be made with Don Julio 1942. It was ok and Don Julio is my favorite, it was by no means the best margarita I've ever had. We ordered fresh guacamole which was great and we shared the Mexican Mixed grill. The black beans were fantastic. It also has a mix of steak, pork chops, chicken breast and chorizo with onions & peppers. The steak and chorizo see the best, great season and flavor. The chicken was bland tho. Pork chops were ok. All in all it wasn't a bad "mall" Mexican dinner. Our server was great! He was handling the entire floor flawlessly."

"If you are looking for a good low key simple seafood place. This is the spot to be. We had shrimp and mahi mahi couple of different ways including tacos and everything was fresh and excellent. Customer service fast and friendly. It is outside seating,...so no concerns around covid. Parking lot is across the street in case you are driving, it is a hidden gem. Hope to visit again soon for some freshly prepared Grouper and say hi to Felipe. My husband and I loved it!!"
