"The meal was very good. no English, so it was a challenge to communicate, but they worked with us. we ordered the fried fish and fried garnel. the fried fish was a little bland, but we added to the tar salt and lime, and it all brightened. I'll be back. the service was great!"

"I live in San Diego and have my share of fish tacos. Tacos Floresta serves the best fish taco I've ever had. There is so much business that the fish they serve you is never stale. It pretty much comes out of the fryer and...onto the warm tortilla, a little creme, cabbage, pico de gallo, then the rest is up to you. There are hot sauces, guacamole, onions, lemon, peppers, all depending on what you desire. The batter has a nice crunch, the fish is flaky, the cabbage and pico de gallo adds freshness. It takes 20 seconds between you ordering one to when they put it on your plate. It's just that simple and good. Though I'm respectful of other cultures, I don't speak Spanish. The ladies working in the stand don't speak English. Yet, we managed to make it work. I pretty much just motion for one more, and they make me another one. At the very end, I tell them how many I've had, and they tell me how much it costs. The Mexican people eating at the stand pretty much mind their own business, but when I was trying to pay, they helped in translating how much the pesos are in dollars. They're just friendly and trusting people. Taco Fenix is pretty much just a block away, so I did walk over and have a taco there as well. To me, their tacos are different, and almost just as good. I won't debate which is the quintessential fish taco. I think if you are there, just go have fish tacos at both places."

"The meats were very tasty, moist and tender. If you're a carnivore like me this is the place to eat. I had nice tres leches cake for dessert. All the meat you can eat plus salad bar was about add for dessert plus for iced tea or soft drink in Ensenada. This was a very good value. The service was very prompt. As long as you had the yes/si sign showing different grilled meats were offered every minute or so. Our drinks were kept refilled in a timely manner I will definitely go back the next time we're in Ensenada."
