"Walking around Matosinhos, looking for a restaurante with fresh fish in the display case and luckily, stopped here. Had a beautiful lunch outside, of fresh tiger shrimp and squid, salad and wine. Our waiter, Andre', was so personable and made the meal all the more...special. I agree with wine was way overpriced from other places we ate at during the week, but overall, we loved it and would go back again, anyway"

"The decoration is elegant and the atmosphere great for a romantic dinner. The food is very refined: I had the shrimp cocktail, salmon as the main dish and chocolat fondant for dessert...all delicious! Take time to a relaxed degustation. The staff is nice.I took advantage of a promotion but it can be a little pricey for a la carte dinner. Highly recommended...! And next to the beach of Matosinhos, for an after dinner walk at the seaside."

"We were taken to this specialist seafood restaurant by local friends. Amazing array of fresh fish and seafood. We started with shellfish - the clams cooked with garlic and coriander were plump and delicious, prawns huge. A sea-baked seabass fed 7 of us - melt in the mouth delicious. The dessert trolley is the richest, most extensive range of traditional desserts we've encountered in Portugal so far - but so good! We also learnt that the reason for all the local egg-based patisserie is because the egg whites were used for fining the wine. The yolks were given to the convents, who produced the range of custardy desserts and natas we now enjoy :)"
