"I often think eating out means having something unhealthy; meals generally contain more salt and more fat. That's until we ordered in from Karbouzi and found their chicken souvlaki dinner 26 tasted homemade. This isn't a disparaging comment towards the chef, the entire meal was clean tasting leaving me satisfied but not sinfully so. The chicken was covered with a delicate char and remained tender thanks to the pepper slices in between that seem to baste the bird with juices. There wasn't an outrageous portion of sides, the protein simply accompanied with lemony roast potatoes and fluffy rice that were both low on salt, but the cool tzatziki and chicken juices really helped."

"Dinner prices average $15 per person not including a beverage. Lunch time deals are quality and affordable. Restaurant is clean and has good interior atmosphere. A few large centrally located TVs air whatever sports game is happening that evening."

"On a recent trip to Toronto we came here for dinner atn the recommendation of our hotel's front desk staff (we were looking for a the nearest 'non-chain' restaurant to our hotel). Despite their directions we still managed to drive past it twice before realising where it was, and even after we'd parked up just outside we weren't 100% convinced we'd made the right choice; once inside the 'unique' decor did little to convince us otherwise. That aside, we were greeted promptly and politely, sat in a central part of the dining room, the order was taken, the food arrived promptly and was good. I suspect we were the only 'paying diners' at the time thiugh. Apart from a noisy group in a private dining room next door (like naughty children, they were heard but not seen! and I never saw any food delivered) and the family of the owners themselves (who were having their evening meal at the other end of the dining room by the kitchen entrance just out of sight but conversing in half-English / miso-Elliniko), that was it. The conversations of both groups were impossible to ignore though. The food deserves a better review, but it's not just about the food & service. The owners could certainly work on the kerb appeal a little and I have had quieter meals in shopping mall food courts."

"Congee Queen at Centerpoint is a fairly new restaurant among the Congee chain of restaurants in Toronto. Congee Queen offers Chinese food at reasonable prices and value for money. However, Congee's Chinese food is mediocre and quite a different type of cuisine compared to regular Chinese restaurants. They do not serve Haka Chinese. The place was full of Chinese customers and we were the only non-Chinese family. The portions are large for the price you pay and the food is quite tasty, but one has to develop a taste for the cuisine offered by Congee. We liked their Singapore chicken noodles and a dish made with turnips."
