"By popular request our Saturday Night Dining Group just returned to Madisons and we were not disappointed. The room is elegant, tables can be joined for group seating (we were about a dozen), service is impeccable, and food is delicious.I tried one of the day's specials, Beef Wellington ($39, one of the most expensive entrees), two extremely tasty and tender pieces in a pastry shell, not typical Beef Wellington but scrumptious! My husband had the lamb chops, another daily special, also delicious. As appies I had a great Caesar salad, not too much dressing and he had the clam chowder. Other friends enjoyed the salmon and steaks. Desserts are all $5 on Saturday night, we shared and profiteroles and I had a lovely decaf cappucino. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable and the Manager came over to see how we were doing, very classy! Can't wait to go back!"

"Urban Turban has delicious Indian food, a quaint (semi-cheesy) interior, and a staff that is the kindest. A special shout out to some of my favourite dishes: the Shahi Paneer Korma, the Shrimp Pakora app, and the fresh house-made naan bread (it's amazing). Urban Turban has a family-run vibe (I do not know if it is actually run by the same family) and I find this brings about a positive calmness - it's nice to slow down after work and eat a relaxed meal with friends/family. However, this doesn't mean service is slow, quite the contrary the service is speedy and attentive. The food is always freshly cooked so it can take a few minutes but is always worth the short wait. I've eaten here about ten times and look forward to the next ten."

"Came here with family and friends - a group of five adults. We each started with a cocktail while waiting for our table to be ready. The waiter was very friendly and helpful; and when I requested a cocktail that was not on the menu told me it would be no problem. And he was correct. Our drinks came promptly and were delicious. At our table, we shared a couple of starters. Again, this was not a problem. Our main courses were each delicious. The ambience was really good - serving staff were all friendly (even though we had a late sitting - so they were probably tired). All up - good food, good drinks and a good dining experience with some good people."

"Enjoyable experience for a slow, relaxed evening with the family. it was good that we were not faded, arrived at dinner because the service was extremely slow. slowly order, slowly arrive for drinks, slowly arrive for appetizers, slowly arrive for net. our server apologised twice for the waiting period and assured us that our order had been placed. the bill came in time, lol."

"We were excited to try the place based on the reviews and menu but this place desperately failed to live up to the reviews. We both ordered food that had the meat sauce or what ever you call it, that was the worst sauce we had ever ate. It was dry,bland, and flavorless. We were both so disappointed in our meals. We both left the restaurant hungry and disappointed as neitherof us finished our meals it was so bad. Really wish we never set foot in the restaurant and wasted our money. Avoid this place!"
