"We discovered La Chata on our way to the Choco Museo. We had time for breakfast and chose the wonderful fruit plate with yogurt and granola. They serve cinnamon coffee which is a rare find. We returned this last Sunday for dessert as we had...been to see a musical group that included lunch. Again we were so impressed with food, service and atmosphere. Enjoyed flan and horchata.. so authentic and a rare find on menus. We plan to have a full meal when we return next year. A beautiful view of the waterfront overlooking the Malecon from the 2nd floor"

"Good food at very reasonable prices! Fresh, delicious and good service. I had the Tostada de ceviche de pescado, taco de marlin ahumado and Chile relleno de marlin (jalapeño filled with marlin then broken and fried). All were excellent and the Chipotle Salsa was also very good."

"We go to this restaurant every time we come to vallarta. We always order Frieda'S dinner which consists of a margaritas or tequila to start, followed by peanut soup (sounds soup trance but is fabulous), then a chilled chile rellano topped with cream and pomegranate seeds, then your entree--I always have the chicken mole--wine is included--and then flan for dessert. This whole dinner with the beverages was $56 US for TWO!! The restaurant is filled with Frieda Kalo memorabilia and pictures of famous patrons who have dined there. We love it"

"My wife and I have visited Bravo's on numerous occassions and have never been dissappointed. The quality of the food and the service is always among the best in Vallarta. This time I had the mahi mahi special and she had the spaghetti. We also had a ceasar salad and an iceberg lettuce salad. Everything including the drinks left nothing to be desired. It remains one of our favorite places."

"We arrived at the restaurant about 30 minutes before closing time. I was worried that we wouldn't get a welcomed reception due to our late arrival. It was just the opposite, everyone was so nice and welcoming. The food was so very awesome. Rodrigo welcomed us as if it was his own home. He showed us the upper level that has a fantastic view of the ocean. I loved the food, service, atmosphere and mostly the staff in general."

"We celebrated a beautiful Valentine's Day dinner with friends in Inizio. A beautiful sunset over the Pacific was our scenery as we enjoyed a delicious buffet on the terraza. We received a warm welcome from Isabel and great service from Rosalio, Sergio and Angel. We enjoyed the live music that doesn't sound and allows conversation. This is an ideal place for happy hour and sunset and reasonable prices with friendly service."
