"I’ve been dining at Bentleys for over 28 years. I find the prices reasonable. Their menu is so huge and offers such a variety of food I can’t believe how the cooks can perform the miracle of preparing all of the offerings. I like the daily lunch specials and you can chose if you prefer soup or salad or maybe just half a sandwich if your not up to eating a big lunch. Staff are very personable and always checking to see if you would like more coffee etc. I’m the summer months patio is open for outdoor dining. I don’t live in Stratford, but I go there several times a week especially in the summer. And Bentleys is always my lunch destination. Love the food and the prices to me are more than well in line for the food your getting. And I can hardly wait to have lunch there Thursday."

"The food service were great. Our group of three shared four dishes they were all tasty nicely presented, especially the mango salad. The location is very convenient for anyone visiting the downtown area within easy walking distance of the free parking at the Cooper parking lot."

"Fish and chips (dedicated fryer) The food was great. Service was good and friendly! Separate GF menu, that was clear and had a lot of choice. Has an upright freezer for freezing to take home gluten-free meals and bakes. Recommend this place!"

"August 25, 2022 When visiting Prince Edward Island plan at least 1 or 2 days in Charlottetown. You might like to enjoy lunch or dinner at the wharf. . . many good spots such as Peake’s Quay Restaurant! My wife in I stopped in for lunch! Summer months with good weather sunshine bring the crowds, still a great spot for adult beverages good food! You might hear some live music, or the guy playing the bag pipes as the cruise ships dock! We ordered up a free tropical drinks and beer as we waited for our food. Relax, enjoy the view, and music of PEI. Yes, our seafood entrees were very good! Over all, a nice place to eat in the summer! I’d rate higher than 4.5, but as you move into “ off season “ fewer hours, fewer days open! Now in the fall, only open 1 day ?"

"Whenever we come here, we go away feeling that we got what we expected and paid for (which is surprisingly seldom the case in overpriced Stratford). Everything is well prepared, without being particularly exciting. The salads are fresh and varied, and the pasta sauces follow the traditional recipes and don't cut corners. The service is quick and attentive, even when they're crowded. Friends who like pizza tell me Fellini's makes the best in the city."

"We ordered a Peach/Beet salad and Nachos with beef. The salad was full of old wilted romaine then drenched in dressing. Either one would normally have been unacceptable but this one struck out on both counts. We thought, oh well, sometimes this happens. Then the nachos came. Almost no beef. Almost no cheese. Tons of nachos though. Wow! We went out of our way to find this restaurant after a perfect day shopping in Stratford, Mitchell, and Dublin. This is probably the worst meal we have had in a restaurant in years. Please note my other positive ratings for restaurants. Felt bad for the server. Don't go here!"
