"Great meal and service. We went for a birthday dinner and everything went well. The food came out quickly and was very good. My experience at this location is always consistent, really great. The lo mein was especially good, as well as the Kung Pao Shrimp. They let us linger awhile after the meal, so the birthday girl could open her presents. All in All, a great evening."

"Updated 1/9/17: This was my favorite restaurant since childhood. I was so happy there was one in Baton Rouge when I moved here in 1995. I 've had a tradition since I was 14 of going to Copeland 's on my birthday. In a few weeks I will celebrate my birthday there for the 26th year in a row and will keep up my tradition! I love everything but my favorite item is the Bayou Broccoli appetizer. Soooooo good. Been getting it for over 26 years. People say you don 't go to Copeland 's to get a burger, but I disagree since the Copeland burger is one of the best burgers around. It 's on a croissant with their signature tiger sauce which is awesome. I am sad that they changed the show string French fries to big fat fries though. The Catfish Acadiana with a side of red hots is another one of my favorites. But nothing is bad here. I did try the crab cake on zucchini 'pasta ' today which is a newer item. Flavor was excellent but the zucchini was cooked down a little too much so it did not look like pasta when I make it at home. It also wasn 't spiraled to look like spaghetti it was more like shredded. But the sauce was great. Service was always great, and then it went down for a few years, but it has improved 200% in the last year or two (new management maybe? . They are undergoing renovations now so I 'm curious to see how it will turn out."
