"Stopped by for their Menu Del Día (12.95€ . Had a bean and chorizo stew, grilled fish, and strawberry ice cream accompanied by wine and bread. It was all excellent and every dish they brought out looked phenomenal. The server is friendly- not sure if he speaks English or not but would definitely recommend."

"This restaurant is located on the second floor of the Grain Warehouse, or Alhóndiga . The old market, recently restored, is still half empty, so it was a surprise to find such an elegant an chic place in this setting. It´s not well advertised; we needed a GPS to find it and even when you see the sign, the font selection makes it hard to understand. I guess it´s more popular for dinner. At lunch, we were the only table. We got a tuna tartar as a complimentary starter. Then we ordered Iberico ham; it was hand carved, but not purely acorn fed. The caramelized baby artichokes were delicious. For main course, I had grilled red shrimps, that came complete, with head and shells and my husband ordered veal stew with baby potatoes and potato foam. We left no space for dessert, but we were presented a tree of jars, containing different candies and caramelized nuts. it was a nice touch. It certainly deserves a night visit."

"Agree with the other English review, such a disappointment when everyone else in Bilbao we met were so hospitable. The woman behind the bar inside was indifferent if not verging on rude and the waiter was shifty. The food was pleasant enough though nothing exceptional,...not only were we charged for the bread but it was it was also removed from the table as soon as I had put my knife and fork down before I had had a chance to finish it. We felt we'd been ripped off and left with a bad taste"
