"We've been going to Mermaids since they opened. Arguably our favorite Cape May breakfast joint. We recently wrapped up a family vacation with 17 people for breakfast. Mermaids was perfect, food got great compliments from all. Maggie the waitress was very accommodating. We will return and thank Mermaids for taking care of the large group on short notice!"

"So service is really important to me. Especially within the first 30 seconds of walking into any establishment. We weren't greeted right away as the employees were enmeshed in setting up although they were clearly open. When we were finally acknowledged the employee still kept on with her tasks. She seemed bothered by our presence. My daughter did enjoy her bubble crepe filled with ice cream, coconut, Nutella."

"Excellent! Our server, Sandy, was very attentive. We shared the polenta sausage appy, delish. My hubs I ordered the Filet Poivre and it was cooked to perfection. When I told Sandy I didn?t want the mashed potatoes she loaded me up with extra greenbeans. Nice. Finished a great meal with Key Lime Pie. Highly recommend. Dine al fresco and people watch. FYI: This is a BYOB(which means you can bring a very good wine and save a small fortune)"

"One of the best casual restaurants in the Cape May area. Excellent sandwiches and dinner at very fair prices. Many of the waiting staff and others have been there for years, so it is as good a place to work as it is to dinate. All precautions for the Kovid virus were followed during our last visit and we were not disappointed at all with the excellent service we received from Jenny our waitress. It made our return from South Carolina worth the trip. I strongly recommend stopping at lunch or dinner."
