"What a find! We spotted the BIG orange sign on Fair Oaks Blvd, and stopped in on the way back home. So glad we did! The food is delicious, the menu varied, the owners courteous and helpful and the decor simple but fun, especially the book shelf which is intriguing. We'll absolutely be back."

"El Palmar is the best Mexican food in Sacramento. It belongs to a big guy and his family and the food is always fresh and service is always fast and friendly. If you go, you have to try the deep-fried ice cream."

"I've been looking for a decent Chinese food restaurant for some time and I think I finally found it. I had actually become a Leary to try some new jobs because of a bad experience after another. I'm glad I tried again. The order of Sweet Sour Pork was very delicious, but the Broccoli Beef was absolutely delicious! I went with an order of The Combination Skinny Noodles instead of The Chow Mien and it was amazingly good. (I would have to imagine that the Chow would be worth it too) The order of 8 deep fried shrimps was good, but my only complaint about them is a bit over cooked, but nothing worth complaining about and I could only give them another attempt in the near future. Portion sizes were simply perfect (a lover of good Chinese food as I always want more... I like remnants and I could achieve this goal) The staff was very polite and friendly The service was prompt and the food arrived quickly. * As crazy as that sounds, I want to go back and make a nicer tip and let them know that I appreciate their efforts and look forward to enjoy more of their delicious dishes SOON! So... if you're either looking for a new place or you're a first timer... Give Green Jade Restaurant a try"
