"We were charged for Friday/Weekend pricing, even though none of the Friday and weekend food options were even available. So why were we paying friday/weekend pricing when the food is the same as a regular weekday?Our recent visit to Matsuda, we've frequented for years, was a letdown. We've always paid separately, sometimes with cash, and enjoyed our 10% VIP Cash card discount for those who preferred cash payments. However, on our last visit, the restaurant pulled a bait-and-switch by insisting that we could no longer mix payment methods within our group.However, on our last visit, the restaurant dropped a bombshell: no more mixed payments with cash discounts; it's all cards or all cash +vip cards) no mixing of cash+discount with cards regular pricing).Despite the manager's claim that this policy had been around for years, it's not something we'd ever encountered before, and it felt like a blatant falsehood. The lack of flexibility and empathy left us deeply disappointed, and it's a stark departure from the customer-friendly experience we've come to expect. We believe the restaurant should have honored its previous pricing structure for loyal customers like us, and this unexpected change might make us think twice about returning."

"I am celebrated my mother's day with my husband and daughter in the restaurant today. Their excellent and professional service would lead you to the right foods. I have Beet salad, Octopus and Grilled Fish Fillet. Very comfortable lunch and atmosphere."

"Amazing, affordable food near Yonge-Finch! Had the spicy pork bulgogi rice and it was perfect. The dish was presented in a hot stone bowl which cooked the rice well. There were crunchy bits of rice near the walls of the stone bowl. Also had the gyoza which was also good. Cooked perfectly! Definitely recommend if you’re looking for solid quality volume in the area. Servers were also nice and attentive. Definitely want to try the tofu stews next time."

"Dinner prices average $15 per person not including a beverage. Lunch time deals are quality and affordable. Restaurant is clean and has good interior atmosphere. A few large centrally located TVs air whatever sports game is happening that evening."

"Tagpuan means meeting place. A Filipino store and restaurant. Authentic pinoy cuisine. Tasty sumptous taste of tropical Philippines. Pinoy snacks and grocery are available too... Bus stop right at the plaza. There are parking spots in front too. Staff are nice. There's remittance center also. Everytime I come here its feels nostalgic."

"Amanda our server was very gracious on our arrival. We were just testing out their wings after all. However we found the bar ready to take on a large crowd. There were just a few regulars on a hockey night. We ordered our drinks, I can speak for the Muskoka cream ale draft it was served cold and was very refreshing also no wait for it to arrive at the table. The Greek salad has a light dressing, not to oily and a good selection of ingredients. We ordered both mild and hot wings with fries which were crisp the wings were large and tasty plus the light breading was just that. Nothing was over done in anyway. The traditional wings have nice dry skins and not at all greasy. Both flavours were pleasant and definitely will be on the table at our next visit. I can't say anything negative about the service our server Amanda checked up on us regularly through the meal, and was timely for refreshing our drinks. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to my friends as a local restaurant. It's now on my list, see you soon at The Mill."

"The food is great. But the price has gone up significantly, which makes its value is not so good. This time I went, the restaurant has implemented ipad ordering system just like the other store. Ordering is easy and no mistakes. But because of the higher price, we do not see the long line-ups."

"This super popular Italian place serves a pretty big range of food but our group of six didn't try anything remarkable. Serving sizes are huge and the flavours are good, just not really memorable. A good handful of veggie options. Lots of kids and families around though there are quieter nooks"
