"2 different servers checked with the cook and informed us that only one dish (plain steamed vegetables) on the whole menu is considered vegan, that there are a few other pages that we could safely order (plain rice or edamame), but that nothing else could be made vegan because all sauces are made with animal ingredients. They said the cook did not know the actual ingredients because it is prefabricated in a central kitchen, and could not make us a modified dish like noodles with only soy sauce. The staff told us that many people visit expected vegan options and are very disappointed. We went for another restaurant."

"Well I usually love this place, but today made mistake ordering 2 chicken sandwiches, both like rubber, couldn't even pull chicken apart with fingers so tuff. Brought it back and was given my money back, but doesn't make up for my time, energy and gas, bug waste of my time, or was offered a replacement chicken sandwich, are you kidding me, I should of said yes, then made them try and take bite out of it!"

"We eat here 4-5 times in a month but today when we checked out I didn’t leave a tip. So we walked out and the server came back asking for oh you forgot to leave us a tip. I said no I did not. And she mentioned oh did we do anything wrong and completely explained her no nothing was wrong. Everything was good I just didn’t wanted to leave a tip today! And she started saying oh why??? We did served you good then why are you not leaving a tip? I told her we leave a tip every time we eat its just today I don’t want to leave a tip and she didn’t liked it.I went back in there and told her if you are expecting a tip from every guest at bill then let them know before hand rather than coming back after they already left from the restaurant. She starting talking back with ohh we worked hard (everybody does) and we get minimum wage here (told her its your choice you need to tell your owner to give you all raise) and she didn’t like it and started shouting back that we don’t get that much pay and do so much of hard work to serve. I totally understand but you just cannot force a customer to pay a tip every time they come to your restaurant.It was really disappointing behavior from them today. We loved the food here but again with your expectations from every customer for not leaving a tip is not okay. We will not be eating here anymore.FYI there was a cockroach by the seat where we were sitting my kids saw it and I didn’t mention that either plus who sweeps when you have a customer eating in the restaurant(wasn’t the picking up sweep by the tables). That lady did started sweeping from the bathroom till the table we were sitting at while my kids were still eating and I didn’t wanted to make a big deal about it because I know it was getting late.I hope the owner of the restaurant knows that their staff is not happy with you paying them a minimum wage!"

"Date of assessment: 12. November 2016 I wonder if they have a Peoria buffet in Hong Kong... Okay, lame jokes aside, I might have found a new love on this buffet. Jalapeno Pepper Chicken. Soooo good. I usually get General Tsaos (or Tso’s), because it should have a nice sharp kick to him, but that takes the cake. General is hit and miss in places on Spicyness, but I think Jalapeno Pepper Chicken would be a consistent sharp kick due to the... good, Paprika. A few things on the buffet were meh. The sweet and sour chicken was a bit dry. Sugar biscuits had sugar tubers evenly distributed instead. General Tsaos was not sharp, but was still good. We came here for my friends' birthday and I'm pretty sure I was here before I eat. I know my friend comes here at least once a week to get food. Yeah, they sell food. Probably charge the weight of the container? I don't know. I don't usually add buffets to my travel list. Why exactly? I have no reason, really. But I added this and Grand Village Buffet now, so there are exceptions to my rules. This is a little expensive. The price for a dinner on a Saturday night was $15 and change. All in all, a pretty good buffet. The service was fast. The selection was decent and plentiful, although they close 90 minutes after our arrival. Online reviews are met and miss, but this seems standard for any Chinese buffet/restaurant."
