"Always a treat when we come! The staff is always nice and friendly. I always ask for the chicken lo mein spicy with an order of fried dumplings. Literally some of the most amazing food. The dumplings are delicious specifically because they?re chicken and not pork. College students get a student discount! And senior citizens get free soup. "If they are on a budget, china cafe is a good place to go. some of their better dishes are the sesame seed chicken, the seafood friend, and the general tso 's huh. their tamale and calamari are not very tasteful. I was glad that the sweet and sour sauce was not as sweet as in a series of Chinese restaurants. they offer desserts, but they are low budget. the cheesecake tasted like a no-back texture and taste. if this evaluation was helpful, I like it."

"Disappointing. First and last time there. Service: The orange juice they gave my daughter tasted like it had alcohol in it, but actually was just expired; they admitted it, and could not have been kinder about admitting the mistake. I almost felt bad about having said anything at all, after they were so apologetic. After that, the appetizer didn 't come out for about 20 minutes, and the entrees came one minute after that; that 's not an appetizer at that point, that 's a side item. Server was cleaning up at the end and said Jesus! using it as a cuss word honestly can 't remember why, but with my kids there, not ok. Food: The kids ' chicken tenders were ~50% chicken; the server told me they double crisp them for the kids, but they barely put any chicken in it. The ribs were dry, but drowning in sauce; the asparagus was limp, unseasoned, and tasteless. Ambiance: Pick a lane. Dark inside, smooth jazz, servers ' uniforms all signal upscale restaurant. Menu prices are dirt cheap, signals something else. Food lived up to the prices, not the ambiance. That space is too fancy for what they 're doing in there. Mistakes happen, but when you serve someone something expired, then you 'd think you 'd try to make sure you don 't mess up the rest of the experience. Can 't see any reason to come back here."
