"Nice place for fresh good food. Friendly server employees and owners. Great tasting homemade food for very affordable price. Much better then fast food in the area. Grits and shrimps and catfish with home-cancer sauce is beautiful. There are daily specialty is just a good choice if you want to eat every day!! Do not forget to taste it white chocolate bread pudding!! You will surely be home for friends and family!!"

"Would not recommend. Went out of our way for lunch. Nostalgic yes. Ordered burgers. Waited while cooks looked on their un sanitary cell phones, got money out of their pockets and counted, then continued to fix my hamburger. Lights need replacing. Ceiling tiles falling out. As friendly as snakes. Burger was real meat. No pasted bun. Cold. Hand cut (were their hand clean? Fries we’re delish."

"This place found today and held for burgers and a fried shrimp basket. They don't care about food and it was all good. The burgers are fresh and coal grilled, not roasted on a grid. Many shrimps fried. Come back in the area. The staff was also very attentive. Clean and pleasant. Right at $10 a person for us."

"First time eating here and the food was great. The gumbo was seasoned well but the shrimp were a little too done for me and the fried green tomatoes were delicious . First time eating them but I will get me a double order next time."

"Stopped while traveling through since it was close to the exit and had plenty of parking. It was Friday evening so there was a 5-8 minute wait. After being seated our waitress promptly got our drink orders. Wife had the bowl of chicken and sausage gumbo; gravy was fantastic. I had the fried catfish which was Greg and tasty with rice beans (it was okay) and the bread was simply delicious and should’ve had a few more rolls lol."

"That was a good Cajun/Southern food. I have the gum and the shrimps. I filled up and it was delicious. I wish they had a better beer selection. Vicksburg must jump on the craft beer car."

"My husband and I have been to several locally owned steak restaurants (we love supporting small independent businesses) and this is now one of our best we’ve been to!! We had the ribeyes that were a bit tough but VERY juicy and well seasoned! My son had the catfish- that is by far the BEST catfish I’ve ever tried! Waitress was very friendly. Service was a bit slow considering there were not many other customers in there at this time, but we will definitely visit here again when back in Vicksburg!"
