"Recent visit on my wife's Birthday proved to be a bad choice at this venue . The 4 of us were seated in the empty restaurant , ordered our food and started the salad bar . For the next half hour our water glasses as well as the salad plates were left ignored , never was our food order even mentioned . I had to ask for refills at the 40 minute mark and then asked if there was a problem with the order . The waiter only replied that yes it was taking long ....after getting our food in a bit over a hour my Lasagna was way over cooked crispy and the sauce had dried up into the pasta , my wife said her shrimp Alfredo was in her words so so . Marginal or awful food at the menu price is not acceptable . The salad bar was ok . After myself telling the waiter the food isn't that good and him seeing I could not even eat the Lasagna he did take that item off my bill . Food and service used to be great at the Hotel Mead , what happened ? New manager , new chef ? Also was told the salad bar was included with Pasta entree , I was charged for an extra salad bar ."
